With Precision Equine Pharmacy fully transitioning into the Wedgewood family on July 26th, 2024, we maintain our commitment to the health and wellbeing of the horses you care for.

What's Happening?

On July 26th, Precision will be officially transitioning to Wedgewood Equine, allowing us to provide an even broader range of medications and services.

This isn't just a name change; it's a chance to elevate the level of care we can provide. From expanded treatment options to streamlined experiences, we're enhancing the way we serve you and your equine patients. 

Product labels, boxes, invoices, and inserts will now feature Wedgewood branding, but this change will not affect the quality of the medications you receive. We've actually been part of the Wedgewood family for a while, and our commitment to equine health remains our top priority.

Joining forces with Wedgewood on July 26th means our team can offer so much more! By combining our passion for equine health with a vast national network of pharmacies, we aim to bring you faster service, an expanded formulary, and the convenience of online ordering—all without losing the personal touch you've come to expect from us.

General Changes

National Pharmacy Network at Your Service: Your medications may be shipped from any of Wedgewood’s PCAB-accredited pharmacies located in New Jersey, Arizona, Kentucky, or California, ensuring national reach with a personal touch.  

Labeling: Your medication labels will fully reflect Wedgewood’s brand and format. Additionally, you may see differences in how medication names and strengths are expressed on the label. However, the amount of the active ingredient will remain the same.  

Packaging: You may see differences in your medication’s packaging.  

Inactive Ingredients: You may see differences in your medication’s inactive ingredients.

Specific Changes by Dosage Form

Oral Liquids

Appearance Changes: You might notice some differences in appearance, consistency, color, and scent. These changes in appearance will not impact your medication’s active ingredients.  

Flavors: For many oral liquids, you will have some additional flavors to choose from, making medication administration easier and more enjoyable for the animals in your care. Flavor options that may be available for your preparation include Apple, Molasses, Apple-Molasses, Peppermint, Tutti-Frutti, Vanilla Butternut, Banana, Chicken, Fish, Liver, and/or Cricket.  

Powders

Scoop Size & Appearance: You may receive new scoops and/or scoop sizes with your powders. To ensure accurate dosing, please use the scoops provided and follow the labeled directions to ensure you’re administering the correct dose. 

Particle Size: You may notice a change in particle size.  

Powder Quantity: The total amount of powder may be different, but the amount of medication remains the same.  

Pastes

Consistency: You can expect some variations in the texture of pastes.

Electronically: We encourage you to set up an account at Wedgewood.com to manage your prescriptions and orders after July 26th efficiently. If you haven’t already, creating an account is simple and provides 24/7 access to our full range of products and services. 
Through your dedicated equine account manager: If you are not sure who your account manager is, fill out this form to have them reach out to you directly.   
By phone: Call 800.331.8272 to speak with our Customer Care Specialists.
By fax: Place orders by faxing prescriptions to 800.589.4250.

FAQ's:
Will the quality of the medications change?
No, the quality of medications and the care you've come to expect remain our top priorities. Wedgewood, Precision, and our sister pharmacy, Wickliffe, are all PCAB-accredited compounding pharmacies, which reflects the highest standards in pharmacy practice. 
How will this affect my current orders?
Current orders will continue as usual through July 26th. Starting on July 26th, veterinarians can place orders and refills through Wedgewood.com or by calling 800.331.8272 . 
Will I still be able to get all the Precision formulations I have used before?
We are actively evaluating our formularies to ensure we continue to meet the unique needs of you and your patients. Our goal is to provide uninterrupted access to the compounded medications you rely on. 
What changes will I see in the ordering process?

Order how and when you prefer. The way you order and prescribe compounded medications will be streamlined through Wedgewood. You can order 24/7 electronically through Wedgewood.com and by fax at 800.589.4250, or during our business hours by phone at 800.331.8272.

Can I still reach out to my usual contacts at Precision?
The Precision experts you rely on will be there, ready to help you and your clients every step of the way, and we are expanding our team to better serve you. If you are not sure who your account manager is, fill out this form to have them reach out to you directly.
Will the pricing of medications change?
We are committed to providing competitive pricing and value. Combining our resources allows us to offer the best possible care at the best possible price.
Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
What if I don't want to use my credit card to pay for my order?
No problem! We also accept payments through ACH and by check. You can call 800.331.8272 to speak to our Customer Care Specialists and they can assist you in setting up an invoice for your order. Once you receive the invoice, you can pay electronically using your credit card or through ACH, or you can mail a check.
Who should I call if I have a question about my medication?
Please call Wedgewood at 800.331.8272 for any questions about your medication. We are available Monday - Friday 8 am - 11 pm ET and Saturday 9 am - 5 pm ET. Wedgewood's phone number is always on a medication's label for your convenience.  
How will my invoices look after July 26th?

Invoices will feature the Wedgewood logo and address.

How can I pay my invoice?
You can pay your invoice electronically at Wedgewood.com, by credit card, ACH, or check payable to Wedgewood Village Pharmacy PO Box 71424 Philadelphia, PA 19176-1424.
Will I be charged sales tax on my order?
Sales tax will only be applied to orders shipped to states where it is mandated by law. These states include: CA, GA, IA, IL, KY, MA, MN, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, TN, VA, WA, and WI. If you have a tax exemption certificate, you can email a copy to forms@wedgewoodpharmacy.com. Be sure to include your veterinary clinic’s phone number in the email.
Do I need to create a Wedgewood.com account?
You do not need to create a Wedgewood.com account to place an order. You can order by phone at 800.331.8272 or by fax at 800.589.4250. However, we recommend veterinarians create a Wedgewood account before July 26th for a streamlined digital ordering process.  
What is happening to the Precision Equine Pharmacy brand?
After 20 incredible years serving the equine community, the Precision Equine Pharmacy brand will be transitioning to Wedgewood Equine. However, you'll still have access to the same trusted Precision professionals you know and rely on. We're all excited to be part of the Wedgewood team!
